Mrs. Coretto is currently the media specialist at Hillside Middle School.  She was a fifth grade teacher at Maple Hill Elementary School in Naugatuck for ten years before transferring to Hillside in August, 2002.   Mrs. Coretto holds CT certification for Elementary Education (pre K-8) and School Library Media Specialist. She earned her B.S. in Elementary Education, Masters in Library Science, and a Sixth Year Degree in Information Studies from Southern Connecticut State University.

During the 1980's Mrs. Coretto obtained an A.S. degree in Data Processing at Waterbury State Technical College, worked as a computer programmer for ITT/Advanced Technology Center in Shelton, CT, and taught BASIC computer programming in a catholic grammar school.

In addition to managing Hillside's web site, Mrs. Coretto was the creator of Maple Hill's web site in 1997, managing the site until December, 2001.
