Hillside Helping Hands

This is a community service group that is available to assist in a variety of activities. Our proudest achievement is our sandwich-making project. Each week members of this group make sandwiches (at 7:30 AM) for the St. Vincent de Paul Homeless Shelter in Waterbury. The ingredients for the sandwiches are paid for by money that our students donate. Everyone is invited to join the Hillside Helping Hands.

Some other activities are:

Student Tours- students give new students tours of the school
Staff Appreciation Breakfast- a breakfast served to the teachers by students
Holiday Party- students dress up as Christmas characters and walk down to Tender Years Preschool to entertain the children there
Fund Raisers- students raise money for school trips, supplies, etc.
