Students,
I am delighted that you are in my class this year.
As the year begins, I'm sure we will look forward to many rewarding
and exciting experiences.
I believe that every student needs to develop lifelong skills.
One of the most valuable is self discipline. I have, therefore,developed
a classroom discipline plan that gives every student the opportunity
to manage his or her own behavior. Here are a few simple
classroom rules that we will be using this year:
1.
Follow all directions the first time they are given.
2. Keep hands, feet, and all objects to yourself.
3. Raise your hand and wait to be called upon before
speaking.
4. Have all appropriate materials and assignments ready
for class.
5. Be respectful to everyone.
To encourage those of you who follow the rules, I will reinforce appropriate behavior with stickers, "Raff's Riches" money,raffles, extra recess time, picnic lunches, and student suggested rewards.
