This Year's Highlights:

Fall Fundraiser

This is very important as it is the MAJOR source of our yearly revenues generating approximately 65% of our budget. Our P.S.A. spends approximately $5000 on field trips alone! Another major expense is providing various quality educational assemblies. YOU, through our P.S.A., also purchase numerous books for our library and books your children receive during the school year. SO... when you have the opportunity to participate in the Fall Fundraiser, please remember that you are helping to keep our P.S.A. healthy and actively involved in helping all the students at PSS.  This is money that goes directly back into our school and our children!

Opening Day Of School

We provide the children with a "Welcome" banner and festive balloons to share with them the excitement of the new school year. We also present the staff with cards and personalized notepads expressing our thanks for all they do to provide the best learning environment possible for our children.

Start-Up Fund

Each year the P.S.A. provides each teacher a small monetary gift in order to better supplement the supplies in their classrooms.
Reading Is Fundamental
Three times a year we contribute both financially and with volunteers to provide "free" books to all the children in the school through the "Reading is Fundamental" grant program.

Book Fairs

Twice a year, we sponsor a book fair for the children and their families. The importance of reading along with good reading habits cannot be stressed enough. This usually takes place in October and March.

Fall Festival

This is a fun event for for the entire family. It will combine various activities, games, food, and crafts. It should be loads of fun for the whole family. It will include a pumkin carving and painting contest, a bake off, various games, caramel apples, arts and crafts, spin art, face painting and raffles.
