In our classroom we use
Macmillan/McGraw-Hill
Treasures reading program. In addition to our reading program we also
do guided reading and literature circles. We will work with many
concepts and skills throughout the year. Each of the concepts and
skills build upon each other to further develop our comprehension.
Guided Reading During guided reading
we meet in small groups weekly to develop skills related to the concepts
covered in Treasures. Students work with the teacher and classmates
to practice their reading strategies and apply them to activities
and stories.
