A message from the Chairman of the Board of Education……….

Over the past several years, the Naugatuck Board of Education and the Administration have made a conscious effort to emphasize community contributions and involvement on the part of the student body.  During this holiday season, we would like to encourage the entire borough to reach out and get involved.  This could mean volunteering at the Senior Center or at a food bank.  It might mean volunteering to serve on a town committee, a team or club.  It might also mean visiting a neighbor or relative who doesn’t get about as well as they once did.

Why not make this truly a season of giving of oneself?  Community involvement comes in many shapes and sizes, and all of us have something to contribute.  Help to make someone’s life a little brighter and find out just how good it feels to get involved.

~ Mr. Arthur E. Dessereau, Jr.
