            In Naugatuck, Dr. John Tindall-Gibson works collaboratively with a nine-member Board of Education and twenty administrators to provide high quality, appropriate educational opportunities for 4600 students.  He oversees eleven schools, a dedicated staff of 650, and a $57 million annual budget. Several Naugatuck schools have been recognized recently for outstanding improvements in student learning outcomes.

            An experienced and knowledgeable senior administrator, Dr. Tindall-Gibson supports the development of digital resources for teachers and students.  He understands the importance of the aligning curriculum, instruction, and assessments.  He values data-driven instruction and the development of professional learning communities.  Described as a "hands-on leader," he enjoys working with principals, teachers, staff, and students in the schools.

            Dr. Tindall-Gibson serves on the Executive Boards of the Naugatuck Economic Development Council, the Connecticut Association of Public School Superintendents, and the New England Association of School Superintendents.  An avid outdoors enthusiast, he resides in Litchfield, Connecticut with his family, dog Luke, other domestic animals, and occasional visiting varmints.
